Increase Your Impact with Open Access

Increase Your Impact with Open Access

In January 2025, University Libraries will begin hosting a series of workshops to promote and educate the academic community on how to deposit on FAS and SHAREOK and the services we provide to support faculty in making their research more accessible. We proudly showcase our commitment to open scholarship through OU’s new campus-wide Open Access Policy, effective 2025. In this workshop you will learn about the:

Open Access Policy Overview: Understanding the “Why,” “When,” and “How”  Myths vs. Facts: Debunking common misconceptions   Hands on help with depositing your work in SHAREOK  Q&A and Feedback: Your chance to shape the process!

Join us to learn more about the tools, resources, and support available to help faculty and researchers embrace open access and make a lasting impact in their fields! For any questions, please contact the workshop instructor Scholarlycommunication@ou.edu.
