MATLAB for Data Analysis

MATLAB is a tool used for calculations, analyzing data, visualizing data, and many other analysis tasks.  In this workshop, we will explore how to interact with the MATLAB software and how to use MATLAB for data analysis using an example data set.

After this workshop, you should know how to:

  • work with variables and arrays
  • plot data
  • write scripts

No experience with MATLAB is required.  This is an active learning, "code-along" workshop - please use a computer with MATLAB or GNU Octave installed.  The curriculum is available at the Carpentries site.

Live transcript will be available via Zoom at this in-person workshop.
