Managing Research Projects with OSF

Do you lose track of which files are stored in which cloud?  Do you wish you had version histories for all of your project files?  Open Science Framework (OSF) is a free and open source website run by the non-profit Center for Open Science.  OSF can be used as a repository or a lab notebook, with generous storage and a 50-year preservation fund to ensure data safety.  This resource can be used by everyone from students to instructors to principal investigators.

After this workshop, you should

  • Understand the importance of documentation for reproducible projects
  • Understand how to use Open Science Framework for collaboration and storage
  • Have an Open Science Framework profile and project started and ready to use
