From creating prototypes for research to decorative figurines, the boundaries are virtually limitless to what you can create. With our state-of the art services & cutting-edge 3D printers, you will learn the basics of how 3D Printers work & how to translate a digital model into a physical object that you can hold in your hand. No prior knowledge of 3D Printing is necessary to attend. Registration is required.

Bobby Reed


Bobby Reed is an Emerging Technologies Librarian at The University of Oklahoma that focuses on 3D printing, digital prototyping, and augmented reality. Before coming to OU, Bobby held multiple positions for the Metropolitan Public Library in Oklahoma City, OK. Bobby holds a BA in English from the University of Central Oklahoma and received his MA in Twentieth and Twenty-First Century Studies in Literature from the same university. He is currently pursuing his MLIS at the University of Oklahoma. Bobby is a member of OLA and ALA and is also board member for the Oklahoma City Literary Festival.


When Bobby isn’t busy with school or work, you can find him writing, making music, or spending time with his family, Kristen, Hazey, and Sophia.
