3D Modeling

Want to learn how to create your own 3D models? In this one-hour workshop, you'll be able to turn your idea into a CAD model for 3D printing using the free browser-based modeling tool: Tinkercad. From prototypes to home decor, the possibilities are truly endless! *Use of a personal laptop during workshop is necessary. Please setup your Tinkercad account prior to attending. This workshop is free & open to the public. Seats are limited. Please register to attend.

Bobby Reed

 

Bobby Reed is an Emerging Technologies Librarian at The University of Oklahoma that focuses on 3D printing, digital prototyping, and augmented reality. Before coming to OU, Bobby held multiple positions for the Metropolitan Public Library in Oklahoma City, OK. Bobby holds a BA in English from the University of Central Oklahoma and received his MA in Twentieth and Twenty-First Century Studies in Literature from the same university. He is currently pursuing his MLIS at the University of Oklahoma. Bobby is a member of OLA and ALA and is also board member for the Oklahoma City Literary Festival.

 

When Bobby isn’t busy with school or work, you can find him writing, making music, or spending time with his family, Kristen, Hazey, and Sophia.
