Dryad: A Generalist and Collaborative Repository for Scholarly Outputs

Dryad is a general-purpose data platform for a wide range of data types where you can assign Data Object Identifiers (DOIs) for data citation. Dryad simplifies data deposit by employing professional curators to ensure the validity of files and descriptive information. Dryad also works with Zenodo to support and streamline deposit of software and other research-related digital assets. University Libraries has purchased a membership with Dryad so OU researchers can deposit for free.

After this workshop, you will:

  • Understand how to use this free, reliable non-profit service for:
    • collaboration
    • storage
    • Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs)
    • Create a user profile
