Creating an Interactive Map with StoryMapJS
This workshop covers creating maps that tell a story and is targeted towards new users who are interested in "story maps" for research and teaching. KnightLab’s StoryMap JS is a web-based tool that can create an interactive story map visualization with no coding required. This workshop provides the basics about how StoryMaps JS works in general, as well as a walkthrough on how to create your own StoryMap.
After this workshop, learners should be able to:
- Understand the common use cases for StoryMap JS
- Create a simple StoryMap with a title and slide pages

Requirements
- Pre-requisites: A Google account (create one here: https://support.google.com/mail/answer/56256?hl=en)
- Software requirements: Internet browser (Firefox, Edge, Chrome, Safari, etc.)
- Registration is: required.
- Minimum registrations for workshop to be hosted is 10.
