Nightmare on Research Street Story Contest Deadline
Tell us your scariest story about losing your work. Two social media crowd favorites from our Nightmare on Research Street competition will win a rugged, high-quality 2 TB external hard drive! And there will be another winner chosen from a drawing at a pizza party at The Bizz on Halloween!
Did you overwrite your final paper the day before it was due? Film your video project on a corrupted memory card? Or worse? We can't wait to hear, and also--we've got suggestions for how to avoid this in the future!
You can submit your Nightmare on Research Street entry in whatever media works for you: write a few sentences, create a meme, or send us a video telling us your story. It can be as simple or elaborate as you want!
- DM'ng or commenting with your data loss nightmare story on OU Libraries' Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram
- Writing it out on a notecard and putting it in dropboxes located around The Bizz on Main, LL1, and LL2.
- Posting your entry on your own social media and using the hashtag #NightmareResearch on Twitter or Instagram
- Or emailing your entry to libpr@ou.edu
All levels are welcome: undergraduate students, graduate students, postdocs, staff, and faculty from all disciplines. We’ll announce the winners at the pizza party on Halloween!
