Intermediate Electronics Workshop

This workshop is a follow-up to the Introductory Electronics Workshop hosted in the EDGE.  We will build on topics already covered such as building simple circuits using LEDs and push buttons, serial communication.  We will, again, make use of the Sparkfun Inventor's Kits used in the introductory workshop.  Sensing analog signals from sensors such as temperature sensors, potentiometers, and ambient light sensors will be discussed.  Also being discussed will be a few output devices; motors, servos, and buzzers.

For more information about the workshop please read our Microcontroller Documentation.

*If able, please bring a laptop computer.  Otherwise, the EDGE has two that can be lent for the workshop.

*Prior to attending the workshop, please visit codebender.cc and create an account.  After registration you will be asked to install a browser plug-in and to install some drivers.  Simple instructions will be provided to help you do this.
